What you need to know:
RSVP From Heaven is an enlightening read for anyone interested in learning more about the life of a spirit medium. No secrets are given away, but if you pay close enough attention Marie has plenty of advice to offer. Despite the vulnerabiltity her occupation requires of her, Marie selflessly overcomes her fears and insecurities to share messages of love, hope, and trust--trust in each other and trust in ourselves. For every new visitor that approaches her table (even if for only a few minutes), Marie has the ability to impart a deep and lasting impression by sharing with them critical life messages.
Marie is a delightful storyteller and, as I imagined, a kind of Romantic fairy godmother. She shares her talents to help people perceive their lives from a perspective that few of us ever have the opportunity to experience. The stories of her unique (and often licentious) clientele draw you in but it is the inspiring connection that Marie strives to create betweeen her clients that is truly what makes RSVP From Heaven special. This book is not one of deep spirituality, rather a reflection on fundamental human emotional needs and the beauty in how we seek out new ways to fulfill those needs. Sometimes all it takes is a reminder that someone is looking out for us that makes all the difference.
A thin trail of grammatical and typographical errors inhibited my rating slightly. I do not hold sefl-pub titles to the same standard as traditionally published books, but I believe that to uphold quality in self-pub, the point must be made. Don't let that deter you from picking up RSVP. Take the chance and open your mind; allow Marie to share with you all that she sees.
